Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 14 April 2025 | Effective: 14 April 2025
About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Feldstone website at feldston.live and your enrolment in any course or programme offered by Feldstone Education Sdn Bhd ("Feldstone", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in Malaysia with a registered office at 27 Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur.
By accessing the website or enrolling in a course, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which together form the complete agreement between you and Feldstone.
Eligibility
Our courses are designed for adults aged 18 and above. By enrolling, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that any information you provide to us is accurate and complete.
Our programmes are informational in nature and are not intended to constitute financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional regulated advice. If you require professional guidance suited to your personal circumstances, we recommend consulting a licensed financial planner, tax agent, or other qualified professional.
Enrolment and Payment
Enrolment in a Feldstone course is confirmed upon receipt of full payment unless otherwise agreed in writing. Course fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
We accept payment by the methods listed at checkout. Payment details are processed by a third-party payment provider; Feldstone does not store complete card or banking credentials on our systems.
A confirmation of enrolment will be sent to the email address you provide. Please retain this confirmation for your records.
Cancellation and Refunds
We understand that circumstances change. Our refund policy is as follows:
- Cancellation more than 14 days before course start: A full refund will be issued, less any payment processing fees charged by our payment provider.
- Cancellation between 7 and 14 days before course start: A refund of 50% of the course fee will be issued.
- Cancellation fewer than 7 days before course start: No refund will be issued, though you may transfer your enrolment to a future intake of the same course, subject to availability.
- Cancellation by Feldstone: If we cancel or postpone a course, enrolled participants will receive a full refund or, at their preference, a transfer to a rescheduled session.
Refund requests should be directed to [email protected] with your enrolment confirmation reference.
Course Content and Delivery
Feldstone courses are delivered online unless otherwise stated. Access to course materials is granted upon confirmation of payment and remains available for the duration specified at enrolment.
Course content — including written lessons, recordings, worksheets, glossaries, and case studies — is developed and maintained by Feldstone and is subject to periodic revision. We aim to keep all materials current, but we do not warrant that every reference to tax rates, regulatory thresholds, or government policy will reflect the most recent changes at every point in time. Participants are encouraged to verify figures with official sources when making financial decisions.
Discussion forums, where provided, are a space for participants to share observations and questions. Feldstone moderates these forums but is not responsible for the accuracy of contributions made by other participants.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Feldstone website and within our courses — including text, diagrams, templates, case studies, annotated examples, and the overall course structure — is the intellectual property of Feldstone Education Sdn Bhd or is used with appropriate permission.
Enrolled participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use course materials for their own private study. You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute course materials in any form;
- Share your login credentials with others;
- Use course materials for commercial purposes, including resale or training others for payment;
- Record or capture live sessions without prior written consent from Feldstone.
Feldstone's name, logo, and course titles are the property of Feldstone Education Sdn Bhd. Their use without written permission is not permitted.
Participant Conduct
We ask all participants to engage with course materials and fellow participants in a courteous and constructive manner. Feldstone reserves the right to remove from the platform any participant who engages in disruptive, offensive, or dishonest behaviour, without refund where such removal is warranted by the participant's conduct.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform complies with applicable Malaysian law.
Disclaimer of Liability
Feldstone courses are educational in nature. Nothing in our course materials, website content, or communications constitutes professional financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. The information presented is general and informational; it does not take into account your individual financial circumstances.
Feldstone does not accept liability for any financial decisions made by participants on the basis of information encountered in our courses. Participants are responsible for independently verifying any figures, thresholds, or regulatory details before acting on them, and for seeking qualified professional advice where appropriate.
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Feldstone's liability to any participant for any claim arising from the use of our website or courses is limited to the fee paid for the relevant course.
Use of This Website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use it in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site, or interfere with any other person's use of it. Automated access — including scraping, crawling, or the use of bots — without prior written permission from Feldstone is not permitted.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website available and free of technical errors, but we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times. Feldstone is not liable for any disruption to your access caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Third-Party Links
This website may contain links to external websites — including government portals, regulatory bodies, and reference publications — for the convenience of our visitors. Feldstone does not endorse the content of external sites and is not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or practices. Visiting an external link is at your own discretion.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be amended. If changes are material, enrolled participants will be notified by email. Your continued use of our website or services after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of Feldstone's services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
We value our relationships with participants and prefer to resolve concerns through direct conversation before resorting to formal proceedings. If you have a concern, please contact us first at [email protected] or by telephone at +60 3-2148 6357.
